It wouldn’t be the Fourth of July without fireworks… and this year, fireworks will fill our North Texas skies 3 days in a row! Take a look at celebrations happening in and around Wichita Falls this year. Be sure to click the pictures for more information about each event!!
July 1st – First National Bank’s Old-Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration
11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
First National Bank of Wichita Falls will hold its annual Old-Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration. Hamburgers, hot dogs and all the trimmings will be served, as well as fresh watermelon.
July 1st-4th – Independence Day with Yogi!
Get patriotic with this long booming weekend of fun! Join in on our patriotic site decorating competition, face painting and much more! Call ahead to reserve your spot or activity!
July 2nd – Burkburnett Fireworks Display at Friendship Park
Come Celebrate Freedom at the United Friendship Ampitheatre. There will be food vendors and a kiddie area. Bands include The Blaine Gillespie Band and Jake Worthington, a runner up on NBC’s The Voice.
July 2nd – Pre-4th of July Show at Fuzzy’s Taco
The Falls Town Saints promise a lively evening at the Pre-4th celebration! A great way to kick of your Fourth of July weekend.
July 3rd – Iowa Park Fourth of July Celebration
Join the City of Iowa Park for a citywide Fourth of July Celebration at Gordon Lake.
July 3rd – Fireworks at the Wichita Falls Country Club
Members can enjoy activities all day long, but you don’t have to be a member to enjoy the stunning fireworks display! Find a spot at Hamilton or Weeks Park and enjoy the festivities!
July 4th – Kell House Fourth of July Celebration and “Most Patriotic Parade”
9 a.m. – Noon
Step back in time with the Wichita County Heritage Society this Fourth of July! It’s time to bring out your red, white, and blue as we honor America with our 32nd Old-Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration and “Most Patriotic” Parade.
July 4th – 4th in the Falls
Come celebrate a patriotic evening of food, fun and fireworks at “4th in the Falls”, presented by the City of Wichita Falls! Bands include Wayward Blue, No Limits and Brandon Rhyder.
