There are only two weekends left until Halloween. Whether you like being scared… or if you just want to score candy, here’s a look at the festive events on our calendar!
The Sunrise Optimist Club is hosting a haunted house Friday and Saturdays through Halloween! This annual fundraiser also includes a Zombie Hunt!
The Boys and Girls Club also have their annual Chamber of Horrors. This haunted house is not recommended for children under 6.
Coyote Ranch Resort is getting into the Halloween spirit with activities each weekend through the end of the month. Fridays include a haunted hay ride through the trail of terror. Saturdays feature a full day of frightful activities and a haunted hay ride.
The Gypsy Kit, which won the Food Truck Championship of Texas this year, is hosting a delightfully frightful dinner October 30th. Costumes are encouraged!
Comicfest from the Wichita Falls Public Library is coming up during the day on Halloween. They will have free comic books donated by Collector’s Den (while supplies last), candy, and activities for all.
Natural Grocers is hosting a first time Halloween Safehouse the afternoon of the 31st. They’ll have face painting, arts and crafts, a halloween movie, special guests and a drawing for prizes for kids.
If you’re looking for a more active Halloween event, there’s still time to get a team together for Dodge, Duck and Dive. It’s a dodgeball tournament benefitting Habitat for Humanity.
The Forum is hosting several activities for your little ghouls and boys. The Halloween Hoopla includes a pumpkin contest (going on now!), a free movie Halloween afternoon and trick or treating!
News Channel 6 is hosting their annual Safe Kids Halloween. This is the 19th year for the event. Your kids can collect candy from tons of different booths at this family-friendly trick-or-treating event.
The zombie hordes are scheduled to invade Wichita Falls at this year’s Zombie Crawl. This annual event has transformed into a 1(-ish) K run with more obstacles. This year’s theme for the crawl is Crawl-NIVAL! There will be Midway Games and more for you to enjoy.
After the festivals and trick-or-treating is over, the Backdoor Theatre is hosting a midnight viewing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show! You must be 18 or older to attend this event. Your admission cost will also include a bag of props to use during the movie.
