Our latest exhibit in the NorthLight Gallery at The Kemp features the trompe l’oeil paintings of Sharon Gibson-Bly. Using her considerable skills in traditional painting technique, the artist reinvents and interprets historical works through the lens of social inquiry. Our exhibit features 20 paintings and drawings from the artist. The exhibit includes scannable codes that link to the historic pieces which form the basis for each painting, allowing viewers to study and compare the original artwork with Ms. Gibson-Bly’s interpretations.…

Memories in the Making: Where Art Meets Alzheimer’s Learn how to bring the joy of creative self-expression to someone with memory loss. Memories in the Making, the Alzheimer’s Association art program for people with dementia, is a weekly one-hour art session where caregiver and loved one can take a moment to enjoy the creative release of watercolor painting.
