Gallery Exhibit: Sharon Gibson-Bly @ The Kemp
April 12 - June 15FREE
Our latest exhibit in the NorthLight Gallery at The Kemp features the trompe l’oeil paintings of Sharon Gibson-Bly. Using her considerable skills in traditional painting technique, the artist reinvents and interprets historical works through the lens of social inquiry. Our exhibit features 20 paintings and drawings from the artist. The exhibit includes scannable codes that link to the historic pieces which form the basis for each painting, allowing viewers to study and compare the original artwork with Ms. Gibson-Bly’s interpretations.
The artist is currently an adjunct professor at MSU Texas in the Fain Fine Arts Department. She holds a BFA, MA and MFA in Painting and works extensively by commission.
As always, exhibits at The Kemp are open to the public free of charge during all open business hours.
