Tai Chi is an excellent method of exercises that will improve balance and coordination, build lower body strength, increase confidence, improve circulation, breathing, and mobility. The gentle breathing exercises of QiGong (Energy work) are introduced in this class also. This improves the Mind-Body connection necessary to heal the body and calm the mind.
Wear loose comfortable clothes and light weight comfortable shoes.
Students should bring a mat or large towel for the floor exercises and stretches.
