River Bend Nature Center’s 14th Annual Bug Fest is Friday, May 5th, from 5:30 pm- 8:30 pm! You can discover what a 10-inch millipede feels like and look a tarantula right in its eight eyes. Experience the beauty and fascination of bugs and learn about their importance in our daily lives.
There will be many activities for all ages, such as OSU’s Insect Adventure where you can see, hold, and touch a multitude of insects, a Bug Hunt Contest, Bug Games, Buggy Crafts plus so much more! Also, enjoy River Bend’s own “Bug Stop” Live Collection and experience “Peyton’s Place” Butterfly Exhibit in the Ruby N. Priddy Butterfly and Nature Conservatory!
